The path to equal partnership with your horse
Location: Australia
This two-day clinic is for those who are curious about ways to build a more equal relationship with their horse, where leadership fades and a partnership based on mutual trust and enjoyment develops.
Together, we will lay the foundation for a deep connection with your horse. Without tricks, tools, or shortcuts, but in the most natural way possible: by giving your horse freedom of choice and a voice. Open and honest communication is only possible when your horse feels safe and has the space to express itself. I will help you listen to your horse and teach you how to influence communication with your horse gently.
We will also experiment with asking your horse questions, in a way that feels good for your horse. A ‘yes’ is only truly valuable if a ‘no’ is a safe option, without consequences.
Give your horse a voice in your relationship.
“I see you, I hear you, I feel you”
What to expect?
Theory:
We’ll dive deeper into how to build an equal bond with horses, discussing the importance of freedom of choice and the positive impact it has on strengthening your relationship. Through real-life examples, we’ll explore the possible enrichments and I’ll share how your horse can express its inner wisdom with you.
Practice:
Together with all participants, we’ll create a safe and open learning environment. We’ll work with the horses as freely as possible, either in the arena or the paddock. In a personal session with you and your horse, you’ll learn to recognize and understand your horse’s unique patterns and signals. You’ll discover how to influence communication with your horse gently and how to ask questions while staying connected.
Reflection:
At the end of each day, we’ll share our insights: What have we learned from the horses? How can we bring these lessons home with us?
